Premier can design and build the perfect custom pavilion to fit your backyard design. Often confused with gazebos, pavilions are different and serve a different purpose in your yard or garden. Pavilions are roofed structures, supported by 4 or more posts without walls.
Since pavilions don’t have sides or a floor, they are usually constructed on a deck, paver patio, or concrete pad. Most pavilions are designed to be long and rectangular and are commonly used to provide a roof for a seating area beneath them.
A beautiful outdoor pavilion is a great place to entertain guests, cover over an outdoor kitchen or eating area, or even to have a fireplace or TV entertainment area.
Pavilions offer many of the same benefits as a gazebo, but they are less intrusive and don’t block your view. When you meet with your designer from Premier, we can discuss all the options available for your pavilion. Not only can you select the materials for the frame and roof, but we want to make sure we place the pavilion in the best place to maximize views in your garden and keep a natural flow for traffic in your yard.
Premier offers a couple of different kinds of Pavilions: Wood or Vinyl, or Aluminum.
A custom wood pavilion can be made with timber posts and a wood beam roof finished off with long-lasting asphalt shingles.
The standard 6x6 posts are made with premium grade pressure-treated lumber. The laminated beams are designed to resist warping and support the weight of the structure and the rooftop. We also offer 8x8, 10x10, and decorative Douglas fir or other cladding material.
Each board used in your structure is hand selected to make sure you get the best possible look and feel for your outdoor structure. A finished ceiling can be added so that it is visible from the seating area using beautiful 1x6 tongue and groove boards add a stunning ambiance to your entertainment area.
It’s hard to match the warmth and charm of a real wood structure and the versatility means you can paint or stain the wood to match your décor.

Color: Choose your paint or stain color for the wood. You can also leave the wood unstained for a more natural weathered appearance. All our paints and stains can be sealed and waterproofed for added longevity.
Roof: By default, we use standard long-life asphalt shingles, but you can upgrade to standing seam metal, rubber, or cedar wood shingles. Each comes with its own benefits and a different look and feel to optimize your design.
Additional upgrades: Completely customize your pavilion with upgraded posts, sound, and lighting packages, or by adding a cupola or other distinctive features.

Vinyl & Aluminum pavilions offer a lot of the features of wood without all the maintenance.
By sheathing the lumber structure with easy-to-clean vinyl, or ready-to-build aluminum kits, you won’t need to worry about painting or staining your structure. Although you lose some of the warmth of natural wood, the latest vinyl & aluminum products offer a sleek, modern look to complement your backyard design.
The core structure of your vinyl pavilion is the same high-quality 6x6 custom-selected pine which is then sheathed in maintenance-free vinyl.
The interior rafters are 1x6 tongue and groove which can be stained or painted to match your final look.

Dimensions: Discuss the size of your pavilion. Standard options include sizes between 10’x10’ all the up to 20’ x 40’ but we can also custom design a size to fit your space.
